As founder, and owner of Core Wellness Yoga, Amy Black has a deep desire for sharing, teaching, and modeling a yogic lifestyle to her students. She has taught yoga for more than 15 years, and believes that the learning—the growing—never stops. Her greatest desire is to teach her students that yoga is more than simply postures and poses on our mats.  Yoga is a way of life.

As an active mother of three amazing young men, and one energetic golden retriever, Amy is always on the go. She knows that living life to its fullest requires daily deposits of good rest, great food, and without a doubt, mindful movement. Amy is committed to sharing these ideals with her students, while also embracing the idea that sometimes letting go, having fun, and stepping outside of the “boundaries” is healthy too. In working alongside with her husband, David, owner of Core Wellness Institute, Amy has learned that she loves helping others understand more about their true, authentic selves.
